A burglar broke into a shed at an Alta Vista Road home and stole a bicycle. The bicycle was found abandoned in a bush in the yard. The incident was reported June 7.

A thief stole three checks from a Palmer Road resident’s mailbox between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. June 6. The victim canceled the checks and created new bank accounts to avoid any loss of money.

A backpack containing cash and gift cards totaling $730 was reported stolen from a Voorhees Court resident’s vehicle overnight between June 4 and June 5.

A Gentry Court resident lost $400 in a computer scam that was reported June 5. The victim received an alert on their home computer allegedly from Microsoft. The victim called the number that popped up on the screen and was told to buy gift cards totaling $400 and report the information to the unknown person.

A skid steer loader valued at $65,000 was reported stolen from a construction site on Washington Crossing-Pennington Road overnight between June 3 and June 4.

Several vehicles were entered overnight in the area of East Shore Drive and Honey Lake Drive between June 2 and June 3. The stolen items totaled $3,113.

A Coburn Road woman was nearly scammed out of $90,000 after she responded to a pop-up window on her laptop computer. She was advised to call the number on the screen because of a security breach on her computer. The check was canceled and no money was lost in the incident, which was reported June 3.

A Beechtree Lane resident reported an attempted burglary to a shed in the back yard June 3. A padlock on the shed had been cut by bolt cutters and was found lying on the ground. Nothing was reported missing.

A Trenton woman was arrested on outstanding warrants from the City of Trenton and Hamilton Township May 30 after police responded to a call for a woman engaged in a verbal dispute with staff outside Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell. She was processed and turned over to the Hamilton Township Police Department.
