A victim reported on June 26 that someone made an unauthorized wire transfer of $120,000 from her checking account June 24. The matter was reported to the victim’s bank for investigation and dispute.

A Newark man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking 16 packs of Pokémon cards, valued at $188, from Walgreens on Route 31 June 25. He was processed and released.

A Ewing Township man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving after a police officer observed him driving through the intersection of Washington Crossing-Pennington Road and Scotch Road at a high rate of speed at 12:37 a.m. June 25. He was processed and released.

A Stockton man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and other traffic violations at 8:07 p.m. June 25 after he drove around a patrol car that was blocking Route 29 because of hazards and a crash scene. The police officer attempted to stop him and followed him until he finally stopped. He was processed and released.

A Woodmere Way resident reported June 24 that someone had used their identity to file a fraudulent tax return. The victim’s accountant discovered it and advised the victim to report it. There was no financial loss reported.
