An 80-year-old Skillman woman was charged with failure to yield the right of way after she attempted to turn left onto Route 206 from Montgomery Road Oct. 21. Her vehicle was struck by a vehicle that was traveling north on Route 206. The two drivers suffered injuries. She was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-New Brunswick and the other driver was taken to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center at Plainsboro for treatment.

A 25-year-old Somerset man was arrested on an active warrant from Monroe Township after police were sent to Camp Meeting Avenue to investigate a report of a vehicle stuck in a ditch Oct. 18. He was also issued a motor vehicle citation. He was processed and released after posting bail.

The Montgomery Township Police Department, Montgomery Township Fire Co. No. 2 and Montgomery EMS responded to a Hartwick Drive apartment building to rescue a person trapped in an elevator Oct. 18. The person was freed from the elevator and treated at the scene by Montgomery EMS.

A 60-year-old Belle Mead woman was charged with hindering apprehension and was also issued several motor vehicle citations following a traffic stop on Oct. 13. She allegedly used fictitious names to identify herself to conceal an active warrant for her arrest.
