Man charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest

A 45-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police responded to the Exit 8 Lounge on Nov. 3, according to the East Windsor Police Department.

Police were called to help staff escort an unruly patron from the business 1:23 a.m. Nov. 3. After he was escorted out of the business on Abbington Drive, he shouted obscenities and disturbed customers, police said.

He was placed under arrest, but as officers attempted to handcuff him, he physically resisted and refused to comply with their commands, police said.

The man was eventually handcuffed and taken to the East Windsor Police Department headquarters, where he was processed and released.
