Seven of the nine seats on the school board are reserved for East Windsor Township residents and two are earmarked for Hightstown Borough residents.

An applicant for the vacancy must be at least 18 years old and have lived in East Windsor Township for at least one year. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a registered voter. He or she must be able to read and write.

An applicant may not be directly or indirectly involved in any contract with – or claim against – the school district.

The successful applicant will serve until the school board reorganizes in January 2026.

Letters of interest should be emailed to Paul M. Todd, the school board secretary, by 4 p.m. Nov. 29. The letters should be sent to ptodd@ewrsd.k12.nj.us.

The school board will interview interested applicants at its Dec. 9 regular meeting in the Hightstown High School cafeteria. The board will vote in open session to appoint the new member.
