A fire damaged a bin and the siding of the Village Shoppes building Dec. 2, according to the Montgomery Township Police Department.
The first police officers on the scene were met by a Princeton fire official who was using a fire extinguisher to control the fire.
The fire apparently started in a bin behind a business after an employee placed hot towels in a pile of other towels behind the business, police said.
The Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Co. No. 2, the Rocky Hill Fire Department, Montgomery EMS and the Montgomery Township Police Department responded to the fire.
