A Bordentown woman was arrested on an active warrant from Hamilton Township after police responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on Titus Mill Road Jan. 3. The driver initially provided a false identity, and was charged with obstruction. She was processed and released to the Hamilton Township Police Department.

A Ewing Township man was arrested on an active warrant for $1,500 from Jackson Township Jan. 2 after he was stopped for speeding on Route 654 near Route 31. He was processed and released.

A victim was scammed out of $4,950 in an incident that was reported Dec. 17. The victim received numerous text messages stating “Xfinity Alert” and was directed to call a phone number to resolve the issue. The victim was told to purchase gift cards and to provide the numbers over the phone.

A Trenton woman was arrested on active warrants from the City of Trenton and Mount Laurel Township totaling $1,500 Dec. 17 after she was stopped by police at the intersection of Route 546 and Route 579 for having a broken tail light. She was processed and released.

A River Road resident reported an attempted burglary to his home Dec. 16. He heard a loud bang at the front door. When he went to investigate, he found the front door glass was smashed and a baseball bat had been left on the porch. No entry was made into the house.
