Williams Galiano, Genovesi continue to lead Hopewell Valley Regional school board

Anita Williams Galiano and Jacquie Genovesi will continue to lead the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education as school board as board president, board vice president, respectively, in 2025.

During the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education reorganization meeting on Jan. 6, Genovesi nominated Williams Galiano for the position of school board president. No other board members were nominated.

For the election of vice president, Williams Galiano nominated Genovesi for the position. There were no other nominations.

Williams Galiano and Genovesi served together led the board in 2024.

During the reorganization, Robert Colavita, assistant superintendent for business, administered the oath of office to Genovesi and Dhruv Kapadia for their three-year terms representing Hopewell Township; John Slotman for the two-year unexpired term representing the township; Amanda Stylianou for the one-year unexpired term representing the township; and Alex Reznik for a three-year term representing Pennington.

The Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education consists of Williams Galiano, Genovesi, Kapadia, Reznik, Slotman, Stylianou, Mark Peters, Mike Wilson, and Pamela Lilleston.
