‘Well deserved’

Dylan Dell Beni is the first student from Hightstown High School in over a decade to represent the school in the New Jersey All State Symphonic Band.

“Dylan’s hard work and dedication has paid off immensely,” the Hightstown High School Band program noted in a Facebook post on Jan. 21.

On Sunday, Jan. 12, Dell Beni performed with the Region II Symphonic Band. He placed 2nd overall in Region II on Bari Saxophone to perform with an “extremely talented group of students.” He then went to audition at J.P. Stevens High School in Edison for All State Band. Dell Beni competed against the best Bari Saxophone players from Region I, II and III. After all of his hard work, he placed 2nd overall in the state on Bari Saxophone.

​”Dylan’s outstanding accomplishments are a testament to his dedication, skill, and passion for music,” the post stated.

In comments, people congratulated Dell Beni on his performace.

“Congratulations Dylan. Absolutely amazing and well deserved.”
