A victim reported the theft of a jacket and Apple Airpods from an establishment on Prospect Avenue. The theft was reported Feb. 23.
A woman was scammed out of $4,750 after she deposited the money into a Bitcoin ATM at a Nassau Street convenience store. She was deceived into making the transaction by a suspect who impersonated a Bank of Princeton employee. Bystanders intervened during the course of depositing more money, which allowed the rest of the transaction to be canceled. The incident was reported Feb. 20.
A resident of the Avalon Princeton apartment development on Albert Way reported the theft of a bicycle that was stored in a bike storage unit and secured with a bicycle chain. The theft occurred between October 2024 and Feb. 17, and was reported Feb. 20.
A 39-year-old Princeton woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after she was stopped for speeding on Rosedale Road at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 18. She was also issued summonses for careless driving, reckless driving, drifting within a traffic lane, failure to keep right, failure to possess registration and failure to possess an insurance document. She was processed and released.
