The Old Bridge Shade Tree Commission invites the public to an Arbor Day ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at the Old Bridge Public Library. The township conservation officer/forester, Gary Lovallo and members of the Public Works Department will plant a tree during the ceremony. April is National Volunteer Month, and the Red Cross celebrates the kindness of blood donors and those who volunteer their time. Township of Old Bridge Redevelopment Agency meeting will be held at 6 p.m., 1 Old Bridge Plaza, Room 201.

Old Bridge Rooted in Culture presents Our World on Stage at Old Bridge High School Auditorium and Gym from 6 to 8 p.m. Join high school, middle school, and elementary school students as they guide you to explore, experience, and celebrate 13 different cultures in Old Bridge. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.

Planning Board meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m., 1 Old Bridge Plaza.

Saturday, April 25

Medicine Take Back Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the municipal complex main parking lot. Intra-venous solutions, injectables, syringes, epi-pens and inhalers will not be accepted.

Tuesday, April 28

The Old Bridge Police Department will host a Coffee with a Cop from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Turning Point at 2020 Route 9.

Savvy Seniors – A Safety Awareness Workshop for Seniors will be held at 2 p.m. Professor Douglas S. Collier, professor of Criminal Justice at Monmouth University and a former DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) Special Agent, will lead the session. Memorial Day Parade will be held starting at 9 a.m. on Laurence Parkway and Ely Avenue.

The Old Bridge Police Department is hosting the 2026 Youth Police Academy and is now accepting applications. The academy is open to any students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in September and attends a private or public school in the township. The Academy will be held at the Old Bridge Township Police Department from Monday to Friday, July 20 to 24 from 8 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. Spots are limited to 30 applicants. Visit the Old Bridge Police Department’s social media page for an application. A completed application and a check payment in the amount of $125 made payable to the Township of Old Bridge addressed to the Old Bridge Police Department, One Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Through May – Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority is conducting its Spring Flushing program from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The water may show a light discoloration, which is temporary.

Be a Buddy or Field Crew with Just4Kixs – Soccer for Children with Special Needs. The Just4Kixs Soccer Program has joined the Old Bridge Soccer Club which plays on Higgins Fields, 260 Higgins Road.
