Join the Middlesex County Office of Aging and Disabled Services for its annual 2026 Senior Health and Fitness Walk on Wednesday, September 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Roosevelt Park (151 Parsonage Rd., Edison, NJ). Taking place during National Falls Prevention Awareness Week, observed from September 21 to September 25, 2026, residents aged 60 and older are invited to enjoy safe exercise and learn the importance of personal wellness. This free event is open to the public.
Attendees will experience a day dedicated to healthy living with a guided walk, free health screenings, wellness information, boxed lunches, raffles, t-shirts, and entertainment. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support REPLENISH and food pantries in Middlesex County. Registration is required and will close on Monday, September 7, 2026, at 4:15 p.m.. Interested attendees may register through Middlesex County or contact their local senior center for assistance.
