A Trenton man was arrested on an active warrant from Trenton following a motor vehicle stop on July 31. The officer noticed heavily tinted windows on the vehicle, which was traveling south on Route 31, and made the motor vehicle stop. The man was processed and released.
A Bronx, N.Y., man was charged with failure to have a diesel inspection sticker on his truck after he was stopped by police on Route 518 on July 28. He was also found to have an active warrant from Oklahoma County in Oklahoma. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center to await extradition.
A Pennington woman was charged with driving under the influence at 5:18 p.m. July 25 following a motor vehicle stop in Hopewell Borough. A police officer made a random registration inquiry on the woman’s vehicle and discovered her driver’s license had expired. She was also charged with refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving, driving with an expired driver’s license and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. She was processed and released.
A Harbourton-Woodsville Road resident reported the theft of a license plate from a trailer parked at his home. The trailer had been parked between two other trailers in the victim’s back yard for about three weeks. The theft was reported July 24.
A King of Prussia, Pa., man was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle after he crashed his vehicle on Route 31 at 2:57 a.m. July 19. A police officer observed the man’s vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Pleasant Valley Road. He turned his patrol car around to stop the vehicle, but lost sight of it until he came across the crash on Route 31. The driver was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released.
A Ditch Witch utility locator was reported stolen from a construction site on Morningside Drive between July 16 and July 17. It was valued at $2,000.
