The Princeton Public Library is short 31 video games that were checked out and not returned by someone who created a library card, according to the Princeton Police Department.
When police checked on the address that the suspect provided in order to get a library card, the homeowner said that person had never lived there. Police tried without success to contact the suspect in the incident, which was reported on Sept. 17.
Library officials said that replacement costs and processing fees totaled $2,019. Officials said they want to press criminal charges if the property is not returned, police said.
