A 71-year-old Millstone woman was charged with shoplifting for taking $148.70 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Oct. 5. She was also charged with defiant trespassing for refusing to comply with a trespass warning. She was processed and released.

A 39-year-old East Windsor Township woman was arrested on active warrants from Hightstown Borough, Hamilton Township and South Brunswick Township following a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 on Oct. 5. She was also charged with failure to observe a signal, having an expired driver’s license and driving while suspended. She was processed and released.

A 50-year-old Hightstown man was arrested on an active warrant from Hamilton Township following a pedestrian stop on Route 130 on Sept. 30. He was processed and turned over to the Hamilton Township Police Department.

A 29-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with resisting arrest after police responded to the Colonade Motel on Route 130 to investigate a citizen dispute on Sept. 30. He was found to have an active warrant from East Windsor Township. He was also charged with obstruction and refusal to comply with fingerprinting. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A 61-year-old Newark man was charged with hindering apprehension for providing false information to a police officer during a traffic stop on Route 33 on Sept. 28. He was also charged with failure to signal, having an unregistered motor vehicle, being an unlicensed driver and driving while suspended. He was processed and released.

A 22-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle following an investigation into a crash on Twin Rivers Drive at 12:39 a.m. Sept. 27. He was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released.
