The company based out of Freehold that specializes in outdoor sports courts was one of three bidders on the project.

The Village Park tennis and pickleball court improvement project includes the demolition of the park’s existing tennis courts. New tennis and pickleball courts would be constructed.

Work involves not only site clearing and demolition, but also excavation and grading, according to documents.

Additionally, there will be tennis and pickleball court pavement structure, court surface
treatment, line striping, tennis and pickleball court equipment, a 10-foot chain link fence, and sound attenuation (sound reduction).

Village Park consists of 19 acres with an entrance that is located on Maplewood Avenue and contains two existing tennis courts.

The park also includes a Little League baseball field, a softball field, an inclusive playground, a basketball court and sits along Brainerd Lake.
