Forty nonprofit winners – including six from Hillsborough – of the annual Somerset County Board of Commissioners TD Bank Ballpark Drawing will have the opportunity to enjoy Somerset Patriots home baseball games at one of the nation’s “Best Independent Ballparks,” according to Ballpark Digest.

Winners receive 30 tickets, access to exclusive reserved seating, and the use of the Board of Commissioners’ private, comfortable, climate-controlled, indoor suite.

“Our dedicated nonprofits provide valuable services and programs that help improve the lives of residents,” said Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson. “We are so grateful to the employees and volunteers who tirelessly continue to serve Somerset County. The ballpark drawing is a way to show our gratitude to those organizations.”

Lucky winners will enjoy watching the Somerset Patriots compete against some of the best teams in minor league baseball. They also can watch postgame fireworks, eat ballpark delicacies, play baseball bingo, watch a fun parade, and much more.

As the New York Yankees Double-A Affiliate, the Somerset Patriots develop today’s top minor league talent into the pinstriped superstars of tomorrow for Major League Baseball’s winningest team.

Competing within the Double-A Eastern League, the Patriots play their home games at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, where fans of all ages and levels of baseball fandom get to enjoy the unique experience that is minor league baseball.
