Make-A-Wish New Jersey is again partnering with Jersey Mike’s Subs for the 15th annual March Month of Giving, a nationwide campaign dedicated to supporting local charities.

Throughout the month, 129 Jersey Mike’s locations across the state will raise critical funds, culminating in the Day of Giving on March 26, when 100% of sales will be donated to Make-A-Wish.

This year marks the sixth of Jersey Mike’s partnerships with Make-A-Wish. Since they began, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $2.1 million for Make-A-Wish, helping to grant more than 250 wishes to children with critical illnesses. Since the Month of Giving campaign began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $113 million for local charities.

Here’s how individuals can support the campaign:

  • Month-long fundraising: Throughout March, Jersey Mike’s locations will encourage donations to Make-A-Wish through in-store promotions and weekly specials. Customers can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3 or $5 when placing an order.
  • Day of Giving: March 26: 100% of all sales from Jersey Mike’s locations will go directly to Make-A-Wish.

“We are humbled and grateful to once again be selected as a chosen charity during the Month of Giving,” said Tom Weatherall, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish New Jersey. “We are thankful for the generosity of our friends at Jersey Mike’s, along with their customers, whose support helps us transform the lives of the children we serve.

“Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving is an incredible opportunity for communities to come together in support of organizations that make a lasting difference.”
