Diwali, the festival of lights, falls on Friday, Nov. 1. There are a number of events to celebrate the Hindu holiday scheduled at the library branches of the Mercer County Library System. For more information visit www.mcl.org.

Oct. 21, 22 – 4 p.m. – Crafternoon: Paper Rangoli at the Hopewell Branch.

Oct. 22 – 6 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Diwali Celebration at the Hickory Corner Branch.

Oct. 27 – 3 p.m. – Henna Tattoos, Ewing Branch.

Oct. 27 – 2 p.m. – Diwali Craft, Ewing Branch.

Nov. 1 – 10:30 a.m. – Diwali Storytime and Craft, West Windsor Branch.

Nov. 7 – 3 p.m. – Diwali Party, Robbinsville Branch.
