A 27-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested on an active warrant from Evesham Township and was also charged with failure to wear a seat belt following a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 on April 9. A police officer noticed he was not wearing a seat belt and initiated the motor vehicle stop. The man was processed and released.

A 42-year-old Hamilton Township man who was stopped for speeding on Windsor-Perrineville Road on April 8 was charged with hindering apprehension for providing a false name to the police officer. He was also charged with speeding, driving while his license was suspended and being an unlicensed driver. He was found to have active warrants from Hamilton and Robbinsville townships. He was processed and released.

A 43-year-old Trenton man was arrested on an active warrant from Long Branch following a motor vehicle stop on Route 571 on April 8. He was a passenger in the vehicle that was stopped. He was processed and turned over to the Long Branch Police Department.

A 51-year-old Chesterfield Township man was charged with shoplifting on April 7 for allegedly taking fishing line worth $73.91 from Walmart. He was processed and released.

A 54-year-old Union Beach man was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving after a police officer observed him stumble as he was getting into his vehicle in the Shell gas station parking lot on Route 33 at 1:40 a.m. April 6. He got into his vehicle, left the parking lot and drove onto Route 33, where he was stopped by the police officer. He was processed and released.

A 26-year-old New Brunswick man who was discovered in Etra Park after hours at 11:37 p.m. April 6 was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was processed and released.

A 56-year-old East Brunswick Township man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving at 4:08 p.m. April 4. Police responded to the Bottle King parking lot on Route 130 to investigate a report of an individual asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle with its engine running. The police officer found the man slumped over the steering wheel with his foot on the accelerator pedal. He was processed and released.

A 35-year-old East Windsor Township woman was arrested on an active warrant from Hamilton Township following a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation on Route 130 on April 3. She was also found to have a suspended driver’s license. She was processed and released.
