A Trenton man was arrested on an active warrant from Princeton after a police officer checked on a vehicle at the Twin Pines athletic fields on the Lawrenceville-Pennington Road March 9. He was processed and released.

Someone dumped assorted items, including a couch, a television set, a stroller, wood, a bicycle, children’s toys and political signs in a farm field on Bayberry Road. The incident of illegal dumping was reported March 9.

A Jackson Township man was arrested on an active warrant from Ocean Township following a motor vehicle stop on North Greenwood Avenue in Hopewell Borough March 7. He was also issued summonses for speeding and driving without a license. He was processed and turned over to the Ocean Township Police Department.

A large mattress and box spring were found dumped on the shoulder of Cleveland Road March 7 in an apparent illegal dumping incident. The Hopewell Township Department of Public Works was contacted for removal.

A burglar broke into the Pennington Golf Center on Route 31 March 7 but nothing appeared to be missing. Police responded to the business for an activated burglar alarm.
