A victim reported on March 31 that $1,000 was withdrawn from their PayPal account without their permission. The victim noticed suspicious activity on their account. The victim’s bank was notified of the incident and no further losses have been reported.

A Pennington woman was charged with theft for allegedly stealing a package valued at $266 from a Forge Circle residence. The theft was reported March 31, and a follow-up investigation led police to identify the suspect. She was processed and released.

About 100 feet of copper cable was reported stolen from a construction site at the Hopewell Parc South development between March 28 and March 31. The copper cable was valued at $1,400.

A New York City man was arrested on an active National Crime Information Center warrant after a police officer was sent to investigate a man who was reportedly sleeping on the front lawn of a home in the area of Route 518 and New Road March 29. The man said he was resting and looking for a place to catch a bus. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A Paterson man was arrested on an active traffic warrant from Raritan Township March 29 following a motor vehicle stop on Bear Tavern Road for violating the four-ton weight limit. He was also issued summonses for a truck route violation and failure to possess a driver’s license. He was processed and released.

A victim reported the theft of prescription eyeglasses, $750 in cash, identification and credit cards from their vehicle while it was parked at Mercer Meadows on Federal City Road March 28. The thief smashed the front passenger side window and rummaged through the vehicle.

A Hatboro, Pennsylvania, woman was charged with driving under the influence after police responded to a report of a driver slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle that was parked in the roadway on Burroughs Avenue at 1:09 p.m. March 28. The woman was processed and released.
