A Philadelphia woman was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and other violations after she was stopped by police on Route 579 near Church Road at 1:51 a.m., April 21. She was processed and released.

A Lodi man was arrested on an active National Crime Information Center (NCIC) warrant from Georgia for vehicular homicide following a traffic stop on Route 31 near Mine Road April 17. He was also charged with contempt and driving while suspended. Additional charges of possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of certain prescription drugs were made after police saw pills that were suspected to be controlled dangerous substances in plain view and in the vehicle. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A Lambertville man was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (suspected cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and eluding police following a traffic stop on Denow Road on April 16. He was processed and released.

A woman lost $10,000 after she received a call from someone that she thought was from Bank of America regarding fraud on her account. She was told to transfer $9,000 from her savings account to her checking account through an ATM, using a PIN provided by the caller. After she made the deposit, she found fraudulent activity on her account for purchases made at department stores. The incident of fraud and theft was reported April 15.

A Hopewell Borough man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to install an interlock device on April 11 at 7:51 p.m. Police were called for a report of an allegedly intoxicated man who entered the Hopewell House Wine and Liquor Express store, but who was now in his vehicle. The police officer asked him to step out of his vehicle and charged him after he failed field sobriety tests. He was processed and released.

Two Trenton residents, a man and a woman, were charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking $1,112.88 worth of items from Stop & Shop on April 10. The woman was processed and released, but the man was arrested on an active National Crime Information Center warrant from Mercer County. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A New Brunswick man was arrested on an active warrant from West Long Branch following a motor vehicle stop on Route 579 on April 2. He was also charged with driving while his license was suspended, failure to obey traffic signs and for a truck route violation for exceeding the four-ton weight limit on Route 579. He was processed and released.
