Pennington Environmental Commission launches speaker series

The Pennington Environmental Commission will launch its Community Conversations Speaker Series with a webinar on Recycling – Beyond the Basics on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.

The new series is inspired by community feedback from a recent survey, identifying topics that resonate with residents interested in building a green and sustainable future. The session will focus on Mercer County’s updated recycling program, addressing common questions and providing practical guidance on managing items beyond regular curbside collections.

Speakers include Joann Held from the Hopewell Valley Green Team and Pennington Environmental Commission, and Michelle Patnick from Terracycle, a New Jersey-based company specializing in innovative recycling solutions.
