Police looking for armed bank robber

An armed robber stole an undetermined amount of cash from the TD Bank at 883 State Road/Route 206 shortly before 3 p.m. July 28, according to the Princeton Police Department.

A woman, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, entered the bank at 2:56 p.m., walked up to the teller window and handed the teller a note that demanded cash, police said.

The teller gave the woman an undetermined amount of cash. She left the bank and was last observed walking south on State Road/Route 206 near the Exxon gas station on the corner of Cherry Valley Road, police said.

The woman was described as heavyset, standing about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. She was about 35 to 45 years old.

She was wearing a white T-shirt, tan sweatpants, purple open-toe shoes, red glasses and a necklace. She was wearing a blue distressed baseball cap with two embroidered white L’s, one of which was backward, police said.
