Police looking for man who allegedly chased juvenile on Guyot Path

The Princeton Police Department is searching for a man who allegedly followed a juvenile on Guyot Path, west of Jefferson Road, and then started chasing the juvenile after the youngster tried to run away from him on Feb. 3.

The child observed a man following not too far behind while walking on the path at around 3:55 p.m., police said. The juvenile became alarmed and started to run. The man reportedly began to chase the juvenile, police said.

There was no contact between the juvenile and the man, who was described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and who was wearing a dark green hooded jacket, police said.

The Princeton Police Department is investigating the incident and pursing all leads. There will be an increased police presence in the area, as a precaution. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.
