Princeton man charged with lewd behavior in Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park

A Princeton man is facing multiple charges after exhibiting lewd behavior in the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park, according to the New Jersey State Park Police.

The man was apprehended Sept. 24 during a targeted operation, according to the New Jersey State Park Police on its Facebook page.

The man was charged in connection with four incidents that occurred in the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park in Princeton and one incident that occurred in West Windsor Township, the Facebook post said.

He was charged with lewdness in connection with an incident involving a Princeton University student, and harassment for an incident involving a woman walking along the towpath in the section of the state park in Princeton.

He was also charged with one count each of indecent exposure and improper conduct in a state park. The two incidents also occurred in the section of the state park in Princeton.

He was also charged with theft of lost or mislaid property on a portion of the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park in West Windsor Township, the state park police said.

The man was processed and released.
