A Constitution Hill East resident reported an incident of criminal trespass after discovering the rear exterior double doors ajar, with possible pry marks on Nov. 18. The resident encountered an elderly woman who claimed ownership of the condominium before leaving the scene in a silver pickup truck driven by an older man. There were no signs of theft or other disturbance.
Police were called on the report of a man inside a Hulfish Street business at 2:17 a.m. Nov. 17. The man entered the business through a rear emergency exit door that had been propped open, and he remained inside without authorization. A search of the surrounding area for the man was conducted, but he was not found. No criminal activity took place inside the business.
A 38-year-old Mount Holly man was charged with driving while intoxicated on Mercer Street at 1:05 a.m. Nov. 16, following a motor vehicle stop for an unregistered vehicle. He was also charged with reckless driving and having an unregistered vehicle. He was processed and released.
Someone carved “Death 2 Zionism” in wet cement on a sidewalk on Christopher Drive sometime between Nov. 14 and Nov. 15. A resident reported the incident of criminal mischief. The engineering department was notified and coordinated repairs.
A Cedar Lane home was burglarized between Nov. 8 and Nov. 15. The burglars forced their way into the home through a window. They rummaged through several bedrooms. Items stolen from the house are unknown.
A 65-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain lane after she was stopped by police for weaving on Nassau Street at 1:31 a.m. Nov. 14. She was also charged with refusal to submit to breathalyzer, reckless driving and having an uninsured motor vehicle. She was processed and released.
A 46-year-old Princeton man was charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon and issuing terroristic threats Oct. 28. Police responded to a call on Leigh Avenue for a man with a knife and discovered that he had a folding box cutter in his possession. He was processed and released.
