A victim reported that her vehicle was broken into while it was parked in the Community Park North parking lot on Mountain Avenue between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Jan. 12. The suspect shattered the passenger side rear window and stole several items from inside the vehicle.

A 38-year-old Ewing Township man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for speeding on South Harrison Street at 1:16 a.m. Jan. 11. He was also issued summonses for speeding and reckless driving. He was processed and released.

A 44-year-old Trenton man was arrested on three active traffic warrants following a motor vehicle stop for unclear license plates on South Harrison Street on Jan. 9. He was issued vehicle summonses for various violations, processed and released.

A Governor’s Lane resident was scammed out of $2,800 after sending money for what was purported to be the first month’s rent and a security deposit for an apartment advertised on Craigslist. The victim sent the money to the fake landlord on Dec. 13. The incident was reported Jan. 8.

A Paul Robeson Place resident lost $1,000 to a scammer who pretended to be the CEO of a company. The victim reported being contacted by text message by the suspect, who asked the victim to buy five gift cards for $200 each. The victim sent the gift cards to the suspect in the incident, which was reported Jan. 7.
