The rear tires on two vehicles were damaged while they were parked on South Stanworth Drive in an incident of criminal mischief that was reported Feb. 14.

A burglar entered an unlocked vehicle belonging to a Wittmer Court resident while it was parked at the victim’s home on Feb. 14. The burglar rummaged through the center console and glove box. The burglar also went to the back of the house and tried unsuccessfully to open a locked door, and then looked into a window before fleeing. Nothing was reported missing and the house was not entered.

A Herrontown Road resident reported that two suspects tried unsuccessfully to break into the victim’s vehicles on Feb. 14. They also broke a window to get inside the garage. They rummaged through areas of the garage, but nothing was reported missing.

A Foulet Drive resident lost $40,800 after a person, claiming to be a PNC Bank fraud department representative, contacted the victim and advised her to deposit the money in a Bitcoin ATM machine for outstanding charges to her PNC Bank account. After making the final deposit, she realized that she had been scammed in the incident, which was reported Feb. 13.

A victim reported the theft of her purse after a burglar smashed the front passenger window on her vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot on Lovers Lane Feb. 10.

A 40-year-old Ewing Township man was arrested on an active warrant from Lawrence Township after police responded to a call to assist a citizen on Herrontown Road Feb. 10. He was processed and turned over to the Lawrence Township Police Department.

A thief attempted to steal a vehicle from the garage of a Princeton-Kingston Road home on Feb. 8. As the suspect was attempting to drive off with the vehicle, it struck the garage and damaged both the garage and the vehicle. The suspect abandoned the vehicle in the road and fled.

A 63-year-old Princeton man was charged with driving while intoxicated for allegedly failing to keep right and failing to stop for an emergency vehicle on Mount Lucas Road at 9:13 p.m. Feb. 5. He was also issued summonses for failure to keep right, reckless driving and failure to stop for an emergency vehicle. He was processed and released.

A 44-year-old Princeton man was charged with criminal mischief and harassment for allegedly leaving a poster on the windshield of a vehicle while it was parked on John Street. The man also scratched the passenger side of the vehicle in the incident, which was reported Feb. 4. He was processed and released.
