Three Lakewood residents were each charged with theft, credit card theft, credit card fraud and conspiracy to commit theft following an investigation into a stolen credit card, according to the East Windsor Police Department.

A 32-year-old man stole the victim’s credit card on Feb. 7 and swapped it out for a different debit card, police said. He passed the stolen debit card to two women, ages 36 and 37, who were able to withdraw $1,500 from the victim’s bank account.

The incident was assigned to a detective, who identified the three suspects and charged them with the offenses on March 26.
