A Ewing Township man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly attempting to steal baby formula at Target Feb. 27. He was processed and released.

A Barnard Place home was burglarized while the homeowners were away on a weekend trip. The rear window and mudroom door were found open. Several rooms had been ransacked. The burglary was reported Feb. 23.

A Hamilton Township man and a Flemington woman were charged with various offenses, including shoplifting, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and receiving stolen property Feb. 21. They allegedly shoplifted items from Dick’s Sporting Goods and attempted to flee in a stolen vehicle. A search of the vehicle uncovered stolen merchandise and drug paraphernalia. The woman also allegedly provided a false name to police.

A Trenton man was charged with theft by deception for allegedly attempting to return stolen items for cash at Home Depot on Feb. 18. He was also found to have an active warrant from Ewing Township.

A Trenton man was charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest, obstruction and possession of drug paraphernalia Feb. 12. He allegedly stole merchandise from Target, and attempted to run away. Police apprehended him after a short chase. A search revealed stolen goods and a glass pipe in his belongings.

A Philadelphia woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving after she crashed into a utility pole on Route 1 at 2:32 a.m. Feb. 10. A police officer observed her damaged vehicle on the shoulder of Route 1 and stopped to investigate. She was processed and released.

A victim reported that her purse was stolen from the lobby of the Extended Stay hotel on Route 1 Feb. 9. The purse contained personal items, including Apple Airpods.

The tires on six vehicles were slashed while they were parked at Market Fair on Route 1. The criminal mischief incident was reported Feb. 4.

A thief stole approximately 350 feet of wiring, valued at several hundred dollars, from the Lofts at Princeton construction site. The theft was reported Feb. 4.
