A 33-year-old Egg Harbor Township woman was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving after stumbling into a fast-food restaurant at 11 p.m. Dec. 14, according to the East Windsor Police Department.

Police responded to the McDonald’s fast-food restaurant on Route 130 after a concerned citizen reported that an intoxicated woman got out of her vehicle and stumbled into the restaurant, police said.

When the police officer arrived, he found the woman sitting in the driver’s seat of her vehicle with the engine running. He also saw an open container of alcohol on the passenger’s side floor, which led to an additional charge of having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said.

The woman was processed and released.
