A woman reported the theft of her wallet and keys while she was attending a class at Honor Yoga on Denow Road between 10:20 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. Aug. 26. A charge of $500 was found on the victim’s credit card. Two unknown women entered the studio during that time frame and are considered suspects in the theft.

Copper was reported stolen from a house under construction in the Hopewell Parc development off Scotch Road. The copper is valued at $2,700. The theft occurred between Aug. 17 and Aug. 18.

A Collingswood man who kept on driving after his vehicle struck a guardrail on Route 29 near Pleasant Valley Road was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident at 5:39 p.m. Aug. 16.

A Pittstown man was arrested on an active warrant from Hunterdon County after he was stopped for speeding on Route 31 near Tree Farm Road Aug. 14. He was also issued a summons for speeding. He was processed and taken to the Hunterdon County jail.

A Lawrence Township man was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving after his car left the road and landed in a ditch on Cleveland Road at 5:10 p.m. Aug. 12. He was processed and released.

Someone tried to cash a check for $25,000 on a McKonkey Way resident’s checking account. The incident was reported to the victim’s bank, which provided a copy of the fraudulent check. The check was altered to the amount of $25,000. The incident was reported Aug. 10.

A victim reported finding two charges on his bank statement totaling $52.94 that he did not authorize. The transactions appeared to have occurred in California. The incident of fraud was reported Aug. 8.

A shoplifter stole packages of energy drinks, valued at a combined $351.66, from Stop & Shop Aug. 7.
