A woman reported Sept. 6 that a check had been stolen from the mail, and that someone tried to cash it for $25,580. The bank alerted the victim of the attempted transaction, which was stopped before any money was lost.

A victim reported multiple fraudulent transactions totaling $3,910.62 were made Sept. 6 on his debit and credit card. The transactions were made at a car rental store in Dallas, Texas.

Two shoplifters stole items valued at more than $700 from Stop & Shop on Denow Road Sept. 2. The incident was reported Sept. 6.

A Honda dirt bike, valued at $2,500, was reported stolen from a trailer at a Van Dyke Road home on Sept. 2. Home surveillance video showed the dirt bike was stolen at 4:36 a.m. Aug. 31.

A Bensalem, Pa., man was arrested on active warrants from several towns after he was stopped on Bear Tavern Road Aug. 30 for having an expired inspection sticker. He was processed and released to the Franklin Township Police Department.

A victim reported the theft of the front license plate from their vehicle. The theft occurred between Aug. 24 and Aug. 29, but it is not known when or where the license plate was stolen.
