The man fell to the ground, and his right foot was run over by the vehicle, police said. He suffered a compound fracture of the right ankle. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The driver fully cooperated with the investigation and it does not appear that charges will be filed at this time, police said.

The crash is under investigation by Detective Christopher Collins of the Hopewell Township Police Department and detectives from the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
