A Trenton man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking two bottles of liquor from the Super Buy Rite liquor store on Route 31 July 20. A review of video surveillance led to his arrest. He was contacted and arrested at police headquarters. He was processed and released.

Someone broke into a vehicle while it was parked at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell July 16. The door handle was broken and there was evidence that someone had entered the vehicle. Nothing was reported missing.

Diamond earrings valued at $27,500 were reported stolen from an Arvida Drive home between July 11 and July 13. The victim noticed the earrings were missing after a cleaning service left the home.

A Hopewell Township man was arrested on an active warrant from Mercer County after police responded to a Route 31 home for an unwanted person on the property July 12. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

Thieves stole 14 packages, valued at a combined $3,410.07, from a secured package delivery area at the Woodmont Forge at Hopewell rental apartment complex off Federal City Road. The thefts occurred between July 5 and July 11.

Two women selected food items from the cafeteria at the Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell and left without paying for them July 8. The food was valued at $40.
