A 23-year-old Princeton Junction man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Alexander Street at 2:03 a.m. July 20. He was processed and released.

A burglar stole construction tools valued at $3,093 from a house on Patton Avenue. The burglary and theft was reported July 19.

Someone entered a house on Leigh Avenue and disturbed several items while inside the house. The victim noticed open doors, a broken window shade and debris on the bathroom window sill when he returned home. The incident was reported July 15.

A Grasmere Way resident suffered a monetary loss of $2,470.10 after a thief stole a personal check from the victim’s mailbox. The thief altered the amount and deposited the check in an unknown bank account. The incident was reported July 15.

The driver’s side headlight on a vehicle was reported stolen while the vehicle was parked on George Drive overnight between July 14 and July 15.

A victim reported the theft of his wallet, containing $150 and credit cards, from a business on Hulfish Street July 11. The victim discovered unauthorized charges totaling $3,666.44 on his credit cards.

A 54-year-old Trenton man was charged with shoplifting and defiant trespass for allegedly taking two bottles of alcohol from a store on North Harrison Street July 8.
