A 24-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with lewdness after police responded to the area of Avon Village East to investigate a report of an intoxicated person who committed a lewd act July 1. The officer found the man, who was near alcohol containers and committing a lewd act. He was processed and released.

A 39-year-old Hamilton Township resident was charged with driving under the influence, possession of prescription drugs that were not in a proper container, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to observe a traffic signal after being stopped by police in the area of Route 535 and Route 571 at 4:42 a.m. July 1. The driver was processed and released.

A 23-year-old East Windsor Township resident was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane after a police officer observed the vehicle weaving on Route 33 at 2:02 a.m. on June 29. The driver was processed and released.

A 29-year-old Philadelphia woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Burlington City following a traffic stop on Route 133 on June 28. She was also issued summonses for having a suspended driver’s license and failure to maintain lane. She was processed and released.

A 21-year-old Trenton man was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (suspected crack cocaine), possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, careless driving and having a suspended driver’s license after he was stopped by police on Route 130 North on June 28. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant from the City of Trenton. He was processed and released.

A 31-year-old Manville man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking baby formula and other merchandise valued at $419.68 from Target on May 28. He was charged on a complaint summons on June 27, following an investigation by a police detective.
