Clara E. (Green) Blackwell, 84, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, with her son by her side in Chandler Hall.
Born in Trenton, Clara was a lifelong Hopewell area resident and graduated from Princeton High School. She received a Medical Technologist degree from Maryville College and was a lifelong member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She was employed as a phlebotomist, working for Princeton Hospital, the Mercer County Blood Bank and Met Path.
Predeceased by her parents, Robert F. and Mildred E. Green, her husband, James L. Blackwell, III, her brother, Robert G. Green and her daughter, Linda L. Blackman. She is survived by her son, Kenneth J. Blackwell; three granddaughters, Katherine Blackwell, Sarah and Emily Blackman; two sisters- in-law and brother-in-law, Janet Green and Barbara and Milton Hendrickson and a son-in-law, Gerald Blackman.
Services were held Saturday, August 03, 2024 at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 North Main St. Pennington, NJ. Burial followed in Highland Cemetery.
