A Voorhees Avenue resident reported the theft of $300 in cash from her purse after a burglar entered the house on July 8. She told police that she had gone for a walk and left the house unlocked. She noticed the money was missing when she returned home from her walk. Nothing else was reported missing.

A Bangor, PA, man was charged with driving under the influence and other violations following a motor vehicle stop on Route 579 at 8:16 p.m. on July 7. He had stopped his vehicle in the road, causing traffic to back up behind it. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected drug paraphernalia, leading to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also charged with reckless driving, delaying traffic, obstructing the passage of other vehicles and driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was processed and released.

An Albrightsville, PA, man was charged with hindering apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on Route 546 on July 4. He was unable to provide a driver’s license, vehicle registration, or proof of insurance. He also provided police with a false name and date of birth, and was found to have an active warrant from Middlesex County. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A Trenton woman was charged with driving under the influence on July 4 at 1:38 a.m., after a police officer stopped to investigate a vehicle that was parked on the shoulder of Route 579 with two flat driver’s side tires. She was also charged with reckless driving and driving while her license was suspended. She was found to have active warrants from Trenton and West Windsor Township. She was processed and released.

Two mountain bikes, valued at a combined $600, were reported stolen from a Concord Place home between July 3 and July 4. The bikes, which were unlocked, had been left near the back door of the home.
