Types O, A negative and B negative blood donors are especially needed now. If you’re unable to give blood or platelets, consider making a financial donation to support the organization’s lifesaving mission at redcross.org.

Savvy Seniors – A Safety Awareness Workshop for Seniors will be held at 2 p.m. Professor Douglas S. Collier, professor of Criminal Justice at Monmouth University and a former DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) Special Agent, will lead the session. Memorial Day Parade will be held starting at 9 a.m. on Laurence Parkway and Ely Avenue.

Through May – Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority is conducting its Spring Flushing program from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The water may show a light discoloration, which is temporary.

Be a Buddy or Field Crew with Just4Kixs – Soccer for Children with Special Needs. The Just4Kixs Soccer Program has joined the Old Bridge Soccer Club which plays on Higgins Fields, 260 Higgins Road. Register online at www.oldbridgesc.com. Spring season begins Saturday, April 11 and ends Saturday, June 6.
