Old Bridge Education Foundation awards grants

The Old Bridge Education Foundation has awarded more than $22,000 to outstanding educators in Old Bridge over the last three years.

The foundation recently announced grant recipients for 2026. They include:

  • Sarah Muster – Schirra Elementary School – Functional Life Skills Equipment – $500
  • Nicole Mondano – Old Bridge High School – Senior to Senior Program – $500
  • Gina Petersen – Southwood Elementary School – Sensory Equipment – $350
  • Kerryann Silvestri – Carl Sandburg Middle School – Counseling Comforts – $300
  • Amanda Godfrey – Old Bridge High School – Modular Circuits – $565.95
  • Margo Greenbaum – Southwood Elementary School – Adaptive Physical Education Equipment – $300
  • Danielle Pero – Memorial Elementary School – Physical Education Equipment – $400
  • Heather Bacelo, Sandi Turi and Amanda Jenks – Schirra Elementary School – STEAM Runway – $500.
  • Michelle George – Old Bridge High School – Culinary Equipment – $238
  • Ashley Ayers – Memorial Elementary School – Sensory Equipment – $400
  • Timothy Lopreiato – Old Bridge High School – Projectile Launcher – $639.36
