Hopewell Police Benevolent Association (PBA) Local 342 and the Ewing PBA Local 111 held another successful toy drive this holiday season.

This year, gifts bringing the holiday cheer and wrapped in holiday season colors were dropped off for pediatric patients at Capital Health Medical Center’s Hopewell campus and children at Younity, formerly Womanspace, a Mercer County nonprofit that serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

“Thank you to the Hopewell Valley and Ewing Township Girl Scout troops for their fantastic help in wrapping the gifts. Thank you, residents of Hopewell Valley and Ewing Township, for your continued support,” the Hopewell Township Police Department wrote on their Facebook page on Dec. 23.

“The gifts were successfully delivered to Capital Health Medical Center and Younity. Your contributions have made this Holiday toy drive truly memorable.”

Additionally, the police department acknowledged Christine’s Hope for Kids, Lisa Springer, the Bank of Princeton, Bob DeLorenzo, the Mercer County Conference of PBAs, and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

People were asked to purchase gifts and/or provide a financial donation during the 7th annual toy drive for children ages 3 months to 16 years old.
