The boy allegedly threatened to shoot the teacher, and to bomb and shoot up the Melvin H. Kreps Middle School, police said.

Detectives investigated the call and traced it to a pair of 13-year-old boys who allegedly left the threatening voicemail message. They also determined that the boys did not have access to guns.

The boys, whose names were not released because they are juveniles, were charged with making terroristic threats on juvenile petitions, police said. Court action is pending.
