The Hopewell Tour Des Arts, hosted by the Hopewell Valley Arts Council, returns for its 19th year on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

This weekend-long celebration of the region’s thriving art and music scene will feature more than 60 local artists and 12 bands performing across four musical stages. Admission is free, with donations encouraged to support the Tour.

Visitors can create their own route, exploring individual artists’ studios and group locations throughout the Hopewell area, with the scenic Sourland Mountains providing a backdrop along the way. The 2026 Tour showcases an extraordinary range of styles and mediums, along with two galleries and Tour sponsors, Morpeth Contemporary and Gallery 14. Live music will be featured at each group location: Hopewell Valley Stage, Highland Design Farm, Hopewell Train Station, and Calvary Baptist Church.

New this year, the recently opened Hopewell Valley Stage will serve as the Tour’s Welcome Center. Visitors can begin their Tour at the Stage, pick up maps, ask questions, enjoy live music, and see the “One Piece Show”, a special exhibition bringing together one work by each participating artist on the Tour. The Welcome Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

“The Tour is all about connection between artists, neighbors and visitors,” said Luna Sconty, Co-Chair of the Tour. “Whether you’re a first-time attendee or you’ve been visiting for all 19 years, there’s always something fresh and inspiring to discover.”

The Tour also provides an opportunity to purchase original art at a wide range of prices, allowing visitors to support local artists while starting or expanding their own collections.
