A 32-year-old East Windsor Township man who nearly caused a crash was charged with driving under the influence, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and reckless driving after a police officer responded to the area of Abbington Drive and the Twin Rivers Mall to investigate a report of an erratic driver at 10:51 p.m. Oct. 9. The man was processed and released.

A 30-year-old Hamilton Township man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane following a one-car crash in the area of Route 130 and Route 571 at 7:42 p.m. Oct. 8. Police also found suspected marijuana in the vehicle. He was processed and released.

A 43-year-old Trenton man was arrested on an active warrant from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop on Route 130 on Oct. 7. He was also charged with having a suspended driver’s license and being an unlicensed driver. He was processed and turned over to the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office.

A 27-year-old Hightstown resident was charged with driving under the influence after a police officer noticed the vehicle was being driven erratically and without its headlights turned on at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 7 on Route 33. The driver was also charged with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and lamps required. The driver was processed and released.

A 41-year-old Hightstown man was charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and reckless driving after a police officer noticed that his vehicle was weaving on Route 33 at 2:06 a.m. Oct. 6. He was processed and released.

A 39-year-old Philadelphia resident was charged with driving under the influence, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, refusal to submit to a breath test and reckless driving when he was stopped by a police officer on Woodside Avenue at 5:53 a.m. Oct. 5. He was processed and released.

A 35-year-old Salem woman was arrested on active warrants from several towns following a traffic stop on Route 130 on Oct. 3. She was also charged with use of a cellphone while driving, having a suspended driver’s license, having a suspended vehicle registration and having an expired vehicle registration. She was processed and turned over to the Pennsville Police Department.
