A 22-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y. man was charged with shoplifting and possession of burglary tools for allegedly concealing items in a shopping bag purposely designed to defeat commercial anti-theft sensors at Target on Nov. 13. The man fled the store and was apprehended at the rear of the building. He was processed and released.

A 41-year-old Somerset man was charged with driving under the influence after a police officer observed him allegedly failing to stop for a stop sign in the area of Route 33 and Lake Drive at 1:05 a.m. Nov. 10. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to observe a stop sign and failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released.

Two 25-year-old Trenton women and a 23-year-old Monroe Township woman were charged with shoplifting for allegedly concealing merchandise valued at $1,497.16 in their purses at Walmart on Nov. 10. They were processed and released.

A 24-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly screaming and punching car windows in the Windsor Castle apartment complex parking lot on Nov. 6. He was processed and released.

A 25-year-old Trenton man was charged with driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop for tailgating another vehicle on Old Trenton Road at 10:42 p.m. Nov. 1. A police officer saw the man tailgating another vehicle and flashing the high beams on his vehicle. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, following too closely, improper use of high beams and failure to exhibit a driver’s license. He was processed and released.
