A 27-year-old Hightstown man was charged with driving under the influence after he was found to be asleep behind the steering wheel of an idling vehicle at the Windsor Regency at 8:25 a.m. Dec. 25. He was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was processed and released.

A 28-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane after a police officer observed his vehicle being driven erratically on Route 33 at 9:20 a.m. Dec. 25. He was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving and being an unlicensed driver. He was processed and released.

A 51-year-old Ewing Township man was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, reckless driving and refusal to submit to a breath test after he was involved in a car crash on Route 571 at 7:40 p.m. Dec. 25. He was processed and released.

A 27-year-old Trenton woman was charged with shoplifting for allegedly concealing $162.34 worth of merchandise in her purse and leaving Target without paying on Dec. 23. She was processed and released.

A 44-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop on Morrison Avenue for failure to use a turn signal at 12:59 a.m. Dec. 20. He was also charged with careless driving, failure to use a turn signal and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was processed and released.

A 19-year-old Brick Township resident was charged with shoplifting for allegedly attempting to leave Target without paying for $405.18 worth of merchandise Dec. 20. The suspect was processed and released.

A 48-year-old Plainfield man was arrested on an active warrant from Union County following a traffic stop on Route 130 for having defective brake lights on his vehicle Dec. 19. He was also issued a summons for maintenance of lamps. He was processed and turned over to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

A 27-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with trespassing Dec. 19 after police responded to the Windsor Hotel on Route 33 for the report of a person on the property who had been barred from the hotel and had been given multiple warnings for trespassing. He was processed and released.
