A 36-year-old South River man was charged with driving under the influence after a police officer observed him asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle with its engine running in the Windsor Hotel parking lot on Route 33 at 9:59 p.m. on March 12. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was processed and released.

A 57-year-old East Windsor Township man was arrested on active warrants from East Windsor Township and Hightstown Borough on Abbington Drive on March 12. A police officer on foot patrol noticed the man with an open container of alcohol and stopped to investigate. The man was processed and released.

A 41-year-old East Windsor Township resident was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking $24.27 worth of items and leaving without paying for them at ShopRite on March 11. The suspect was charged on a complaint summons.

A 43-year-old East Windsor Township man was arrested on an active warrant from East Windsor Township following a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 on March 9. He was processed and released.

A 40-year-old East Windsor Township man was arrested on active warrants from Trenton and Lawrence Township after he was stopped on Dorchester Drive on March 9. He was also issued a summons for driving while his license was suspended. He was processed and released.
